Over the past few months, our PRT Electronic Marketing Class has been taught numerous amounts of marketing and computer skills. We have been involved in social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Linked In. Also, tools such as Google Analytics has helped us to review and achieve more views and followers on our PRT social media sites. In addition, we have been taught the in's and out's of computer programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Flash. Below are some examples of my classwork:
This photoshop lesson taught us to use tools such as the magic wand, spot healing brush, clone stamp, and cropping. Using these tools, we were able to input a new sky and blend the new images together. The cat and boat were also adjusted to put more focus on the "Captain Cat."
This was a fun photoshop lesson, in which we were required to create a custom face using the original images of vegetables that we were provided with. I ended up using various tools to cut and paste the images together in order to create this face.
During this lesson, we were required to blend two images together into one. The objective was to combine the images, but also creating a blend effect between the two. Finally, I added a title to the happy couple poster.
For these next two images, I edited the image of an original sunset. We were required to create seven separate, custom images with different color focuses such as red, blue and sepia. For all the images, I used adjustments such as hue, saturation, and contrast. These images are the green and sepia examples.
This next photoshop lesson involved blended two more images together. I put together these two original images of clouds and a stack of books. This is a cool effect, where you can see a sample of both images, yet they blend together nicely.
These next images are basic text effects that were used to represent links to my social media sites. I used effects such as outer gloss, bevel and emboss, stroke, drop shadow, and satin. Click on the thumbnails below to shuffle through the slideshow.
This last photoshop was a fun bonus assignment. I used my own picture to replace my face in the poster. In addition, I added my name above the movie title.
Last but not least, we completed a few lessons in Flash that taught us basic skills such as adding keyframes and creating shape tweens. Below are a few examples of the work we did.
